The following parking and traffic restrictions will be in effect July 3 and 4 in Plymouth, according to the Plymouth Police Department.
·Taylor Avenue will be blocked to all traffic, with the exception of residents, between White Horse Road and Rocky Hill Road as far as Taylor Avenue at Manomet Point Road beginning at 6 p.m. and will remain closed as long as necessary.
·All side streets that lead to the Priscilla Beach area will also be closed to all traffic, with the exception of residents, also beginning at 6 p.m.
·There will be no parking along either side of Manomet Point Road or White Horse Beach Road all day July 3.
·There will also be no parking on either side of the following side streets: Brian’s Way, Lopresti Road, Vine Brook Road, Cary Road, Fair Oaks Road, Arboretum Road or Beaver Dam Road (from State Road to Patriot’s Circle), or at any of the following locations: Emerson Field, St. Catherine’s Chapel, Second Church or Manomet Elementary School.
·There will be no parking on Water Street between Union Street and Brewster Street, or on Carver Street, Market Street or Summer Street (from Market Street to Westerly Road), all day beginning at 5 a.m.
·Water Street will be closed between Union and Brewster streets beginning at 4 p.m., and will remain closed until the conclusion of the fireworks.
·Beginning at 6 a.m., there will be no parking on the west side of Court Street from North Street to Allerton Street, all of Main Street and Main Street Extension. There will be no parking on the east side of Sandwich Street from Water Street to Mt. Pleasant.
·There will be no parking all day on Morton Park Road and Thoreau Road.
·The Route 3 off ramps will be closed at the start of the fireworks.
·All Route 44 traffic between Court Street and Route 3 will be diverted westbound. Eastbound traffic will be diverted onto Route 3 southbound.
·All Summer Street traffic will be diverted westbound. All eastbound traffic on Summer Street will be diverted at Pilgrim Hill Road.
·All Sandwich Street traffic from Water Street south will be diverted southbound to Jabez Corner.
·All traffic on Main Street Extension, Main Street and Court Street from Sandwich to Samoset streets will be diverted northbound.
·All Water Street traffic will be diverted up Brewster Street, Chilton Street and Park Avenue to Court Street.
·All state boat ramp traffic will be diverted north on Water Street.
