Plimoth Plantation opens its doors to area farmers by hosting the first winter indoor Farmers’ Market the third Thursday of every month from December through May, in the lobby of the visitor’s center at the museum. Greens and root crops, baked goods, locally made cheese and other food products will be sold at the winter market. In addition, food can be ordered online at www.plymouthfarmersmarket.org and Barbara Anglin, manager of the Plymouth Farmer’s Market, will stay at the Plantation until 7 p.m. so customers can pick up their online orders. Visit www.plymouthfarmersmarket.org to pre-order food and for more information. Admission is free, with a suggested donation to see the movie, to benefit the Plymouth Food Warehouse.
