Mayflower II open until 8 p.m.

The Mayflower II, a well-researched replica of the original Mayflower, was sailed to Plymouth in 1957 as an international good-will project and is now owned by Plimoth Plantation.

PLYMOUTH —

 

The Mayflower II will have extended hours during the upcoming weekend in honor of the holiday and the two historic Tall Ships visiting Plymouth Harbor this week. The ship will remain open three extra hours each night, until 8 p.m., Thursday, July 2, Saturday, July 4, and Sunday, July 5. The ship opens at 9 a.m. each day.

The Mayflower II is docked at State Pier in Plymouth Harbor, just 15 miles north of Cape Cod and 45 minutes south of Boston.

Specially-priced wristbands are available at the Mayflower II ticket booth for admission to all three historic vessels (Mayflower II, Peacemaker and The Amistad) docked at State Pier July 2-5. Tickets for adults are $16 and those for children are $10. A combination Tall Ships and Plimoth Plantation ticket will be available as well. The Tall Ships will depart for Boston Monday, July 6.
