Plimoth Plantation presents two romantic Valentine’s Day offerings for the weekend synonymous with love, as the Museum presents: Plimoth Cinema’s “Valentine’s Day Dinner and a Movie, or Brunch and a Movie Specials.” Cupid’s arrow has landed at the local independent movie theater, with two romantic Valentine’s Day packages for couples to enjoy Saturday, Feb. 13, and Sunday, Feb. 14, offering authentic romance at a reasonable price.

“Valentine’s Day is about sharing time with the one you love, so why not plan a romantic date-night, or spend a lovely brunch together followed by a classic love story, on the big screen,” said Ben Emery, Plimoth Cinema Board Member. “Plimoth Cinema has become known as a weekly hot-spot for its Saturday, date-night screenings, and now the theater has joined together with Plimoth Plantation’s onsite caterer, Events at Plimoth Plantation, to present two memorable Valentine’s Day Dinner and Brunch Movie offerings.”

Saturday, Feb. 13

The unforgettable evening will begin at 5:30 p.m., at Plimoth Plantation’s Visitor Center. Set the mood with a complementary glass of red or white wine for a romantic toast, at cozy tables for two, in a room lit by candle-light and a roaring fire, as Events at Plimoth Plantation presents a delectable four-course meal of soup, salad, a main entrée along with dessert.

The dinner menu includes:

A delicious cup of butternut soup with sage and crème fraiche, roasted beet salad, staler chicken stuffed with goat cheese and herbs OR sliced sirloin with shitake demi-glaze. Each will be served with sun dried tomato polenta hearts and broccoli rabe with lemon butter. And for dessert, strawberry trifle with shaved chocolate. A cash bar is available.

Sunday, Feb. 14

This romantic brunch will begin at 11 a.m., at Plimoth Plantation’s Visitor Center. Set the mood with a complementary mimosa for a romantic toast, at cozy tables for two, with the fireplace roaring, as Events at Plimoth Plantation presents a scrumptious brunch buffet menu that includes:
