Edaville USA, located in South Carver, is open from 4 to 9 p.m. weekdays and from 2 to 9 p.m. weekends Dec. 14-23, 25-30 and Jan. 1 for the Christmas Festival of Lights. This year, Edaville’s Polar Express will transport pajama-clad passengers to the North Pole, where Santa boards the train and greets the children, presenting each with their own jingle bell, just as in the story. Plus hot chocolate, cookies, a live reading of the story and carols. The Polar Express train runs Dec. 24 and 31 at 4:30, 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. Admission to the Polar Express is $30 per person with children under 2 riding free. Reservations are recommended for these trains.
