PLYMOUTH – This spring, Pilgrim Hall Museum, at 75 Court St., Plymouth, will add natural history to its repertoire with very special April Kids Week programming. Starting April 15, there will be daily afternoon nature programs from 2 to 3 p.m. with live animals.

Kids Week begins at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 15, with Brenner Family Magic. Stephen Brenner is a master at magic, illusion and balloon sculpture. Audience participation and the use of live animals are key parts of all his performances. April 16, the program will be presented by Soule Homestead and April 17, the program will be a live animal story time, presented by the Thornton W. Burgess Society. Mass Audubon-Blue Hills Trailside Museum will present “Birds of Prey” April 18 and “New England Wildlife” April 19. In addition, treasure hunts will be available all day for the children to do throughout the museum. This will enable them to experience Pilgrim Hall’s permanent exhibitions of the Pilgrims and life in early 17th century Plymouth Colony.

Residents of Plymouth are admitted free. Thanks to Kids Week sponsor, the Edgar and Pauline Main Family Foundation, children under 18 who are nonresidents will be admitted free all day during April Kids Week (but must be accompanied by an adult). Admission for nonresidents is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors, $6 for AAA members and $25 for families (two adults with their children aged 5-17). Free parking is available in the museum lot. Pilgrim Hall Museum is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. seven days a week. Call 508-746-1620 or visit www.pilgrimhall.org for details.
