Treff LaFlech of LDA Architecture and Interiors rolled out conceptual plans for St. Bonaventure’s proposed new church Monday night at the Planning Board’s meeting.
Why?
The church is growing.
The new 10,500-square-foot church would seat 800, with the potential for 200 more as the church continues to grow, LaFlech said. The current 6,000-square foot church seats about 600, he added; this structure would be transformed into a parish hall once the new church was built, with the current parish hall converted to an education center. A one-story connector between the new church and parish hall would foster an integrated church environment, he said.
