From June 1 to 25, Massachusetts Bay Commuter Railroad Company will continue essential track work on the Old Colony Line between the Plymouth, Kingston and Halifax stations to remove concrete ties and replace them with wood ties. The track work will be performed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday to minimize customer delay. During this time, customers can expect delays of up to 25 minutes. Replacement bus service will be provided between the three stations for the following trains.
Inbound trains
Train 060: Passengers will be picked up from Kingston station at 10:05 a.m. and the Plymouth station at 10:40 a.m. and bused to the Halifax station where they will board a train for the remainder of their commute to South Station.
Train 062: Passengers will be picked up at the Plymouth station at 12:06 p.m. and be bused to the Halifax station where they will board a train for the remainder of their commute to South Station.
Train 064: Passengers will be picked up at the Kingston station at 1:35 p.m. and the Plymouth station at 2:22 p.m. and bused to Halifax station where they will board a train for the remainder of their commute to South Station.
Outbound trains (leaving Braintree)
Train 061 will arrive at the Halifax station at 9:45 a.m. where passengers will board a shuttle bus that will take them to Kingston or Plymouth.
Train 063 will arrive at the Halifax station at 11:39 a.m. where passengers will board a shuttle bus that will take them to the Plymouth station.
Train 065 will arrive at the Halifax station at 1:14 p.m. where passengers will board a shuttle bus that will take them to the Kingston or Plymouth stations.
