Plymouth police have issued the following advisory regarding traffic and parking restrictions for Saturday, Nov. 19, as a result of the America’s Hometown Thanksgiving Celebration parade and other festivities and events.

The parade will form on Court Street between Plimoth Plaza and Robbins Road and step off at approximately 11 a.m. and proceed, with no stops, south on Court Street to Main Street and Main Street Extension, then to Water Street, where it will end at the bottom of Cole’s Hill.

There will be early morning festivities prior to the parade as well as following the parade. For this reason, Water Street will be closed between Brewster and Union streets at 8 a.m. and remain closed until 4 p.m., unless needs or conditions dictate otherwise, according to police.

There also will be parking restrictions on Court Street, Main Street and Main Street Extension from 7 a.m. until the parade’s end. There will be no parking on the southbound side of Court Street from Water Street to Samoset Street and no parking on the northbound section of Court Street between Samoset Street and Lothrop Street.
