What: Plimoth Plantation’s marine staff is turning Mayflower II!

In order for the famed, historic ship to weather evenly, Mayflower II is turned a couple times a year, to ensure the ship is exposed to the elements on both sides.

A limited number of dockside visitors will be invited to assist in the process of turning the ship, by holding ropes and helping to tow lines.  Interested participants should be at the State Pier by 7 p.m.

When: Tuesday, July 6, at 7:30 p.m. (those interested in participating should arrive at 7 p.m.)

Where:Plymouth State Pier, Plymouth. Just 15 miles north of Cape Cod and 45 minutes south of Boston, right off Route 3
