With agreements in place to lease more than 60 percent of the available office, postproduction and retail space at the future Plymouth Rock Studios, studio officials continue to focus on leasing.
Plymouth Rock Studios Chief Executive Officer Earl Lestz, Executive Vice President of Operations Rae Ann Del Pozzo and Vice President of Business Development Robert Melley are reviewing proposals from businesses interested in being part of the studio.
With years of experience in operations with Paramount Studios, Lestz and Del Pozzo have a vision for what kinds of businesses are the right fit for the site, according to Executive Vice President of Government and Public Affairs Kevin O’Reilly.
“It starts with Earl’s concept of the studio as a city,” he said.
O’Reilly said many businesses have approached Plymouth Rock Studios about leasing space, and decisions about possible tenants are still being made. He said the right mix of businesses will help build the image of a full-service studio that has everything to offer the people who work and visit there.
“Plymouth Rock Studios is building a community of businesses that have stood the test of time and are committed to providing quality products and services to their clients,” a statement from Plymouth Rock Studios reads. “While all of our tenants have become known for the outstanding services they provide, it is hard-working individuals who drive their success and, in turn, are able to support their families with pride.”
The studio complex will include 14 soundstages and 10-acres of exterior sets, plus production offices, post-production facilities, a theater, hotel and an amenity village. The sound stages have not yet been offered for lease.
Here’s the partial list of tenants with agreement ion place that PRS released this week.
