The Plymouth Art Guild is pleased to have the noted artist, Elizabeth Geissler offering classes at the Center for the Arts. Geissler’s class, titled “Developing your Unique Style,” enables the intermediate to advanced artist to do just that. As the title suggests, this is not your average class but rather a chance to delve deeper into yourself as an artist as well as a human being, learning in the process.

He’s all about energy. That’s what drove his involvement with the Phil when he moved to Plymouth with his wife, Pat, a few years ago, and it’s what sparked the orchestra to offer him a seat on its Board of Directors.

Pinehills resident Michael Keys is already injecting his high level of energy and enthusiasm into the role of president of the Plymouth Philharmonic board. He loves where the orchestra has been over the last 93 years, and now he’s looking ahead to where it should go – both short- and long-term.

Plymouth Center for the Arts: Plymouth Guild’s 42nd annual juried art show

It took 42 years, but the Plymouth Guild for the Arts’ Annual Juried Art Show has come home. For the first time it will take place in the Guild’s new permanent home, the Plymouth Center for the Arts at 11 North St. in downtown Plymouth. The Annual Juried Art Show, known formerly and informally as the “Tent Show,” most recently was held on the Training Green just south of downtown Plymouth.

Hats Off to the Arts returns Friday

The second annual Hats Off to the Arts gala and fundraiser will be held Friday, June 26, at the Plymouth Center for the Arts, at 11 North St. Each year hats are tipped to a different art form. This year’s theme is a Salute to Film.
